Montville Residents Tired of 'Housewives' Drama

“I have to say, I’m getting bored with this season,” said Michael Santoro, of Pine Brook. “Everything just keeps dragging out.”

Candace Harrison, of Montville, agreed.

“Not much to say [except] Teresa’s just difficult and doesn’t understand anything,” the avowed “Team Gorga” member said.

Shawn Finnegan, of Towaco, disagreed.

“…this episode was insane and I do not know where to start!” he said.

Indeed, this episode did seem to show the Gorgas, specifically Melissa, in a more positive light, as she resolves to have a relationship with Giudice in the New Year.

“Good for Melissa,” Finnegan said. “Takes a lot of strength to put aside your feelings and do what is good for your family.”

Gorga calls Giudice to arrange a playdate between the two sets of children.

“Teresa doesn’t want to really see Melissa since the Christmas dinner fiasco, but puts her feelings aside for the kids and agrees for the play day,” Finnegan said. “I think it’s great for all the kids to play together and have fun.”

It is the conversation between the adults, however, that gets the most airtime.

“I didn't think Melissa should have brought up Kathy with Teresa,” Harrison said. “It's like walking into fire.”

Finnegan agreed.

“It was definitely an awkward moment,” he said.

The conversation then turned to each others’ creative projects: Teresa’s new cookbook and Melissa’s new album.

“Let’s just say they both questioned each other’s talent,” Finnegan said. “However, I do think they should respect each other and support each other’s talents.”

“It just seems that Melissa and Teresa keep trying to out-spite each other,” Santoro said. “It’s getting old and nothing is really getting accomplished because they continue to talk behind each other’s back constantly when they are being filmed. Hello! That does not make any sense unless you want the other person to hear what you’re saying.”

This episode featured another elaborate party, this time at Albert and Caroline Manzo’s place of business, The Brownstone.

“I have a question,” Finnegan said. “Why do they all need to get their makeup down professionally and cannot do it themselves? Save the money or donate it to charity.
