Fragments of Fiction: Review: Z for Zachariah by Robert C. O'Brien
My thoughts : This was a refreshing change from the modern post-apocalyptic and dystopian YA fiction I have been reading lately. Similar to a lot of the recent post-apocalyptic and dystopian stories, Z for Zachariah also a has a sixteen year old girl as the main character. Ann Burden has been living in the valley all by herself thinking she is the last person on earth until John Loomis crosses her path. It soon turns out they have different ideas on how they want to live together in the valley.
